ClickUp isn’t the answer (unless you do this first)

It can’t organise what you haven’t mapped out.

So before you dive into templates and colour-coding, ask yourself:
What do I actually need this system to do for me?

Start by getting clear on your core workflows:

🤔 How do clients move through your business?
🤔 What’s your content creation process?
🤔 How do you track goals, launches, or tasks?
🤔 What does your week actually look like?

Once you’ve mapped this, then we build the system around it.


🫣 Don’t try to recreate someone else’s setup

ClickUp templates are everywhere, and I get it, they’re tempting. I even sell some myself!
But just because it worked for that 7-figure agency owner on YouTube doesn’t mean it’ll work for your business.

You need a setup that matches your brain, your business model, and your bandwidth.

That’s why my approach is strategy-first, tech-second.


✨ Keep it simple (to start)

If you’re new to ClickUp or coming back after ghosting it for six months (no shame), don’t try to build the perfect system.

Start with the basics:

✅ One dashboard with your key priorities
✅ Spaces or folders for clients, content, and operations
✅ A clean, repeatable checklist for recurring tasks

Once that’s running smoothly, you can layer in more advanced workflows. But don’t start there. You’ll burn out before you hit publish on anything.
